Ariana’s goal in counseling is to create comfort and wellbeing in clients, empowering each individual to find balance and stability in life. Transitions of all kinds can be difficult, change leads to uncertainty, losses are mourned, and the unknown or unexpected is frightening. Ariana is here to help and has a passion for working with older adults and families. She supports those who are struggling with new situations, conditions, and losses in themselves or family members.
Ariana utilizes a holistic and strengths-based approach, focusing on each client’s spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical needs. Though she most frequently employs Cognitive-Behavioral, Socio Cultural, and Interpersonal Therapeutic approaches under an Existential Humanistic and Psychodynamic framework, Ariana focuses on a person-directed approach, using whatever is best suited to each client.
Ariana recognizes one of the keys to successful therapy is for individuals to feel they are safe, supported, and able to establish trust. You will find a receptive, warm, and supportive environment where Ariana seeks to empower clients to identify strengths, work through difficulty, and improve their situation. She strives to inspire clients in self-discovery and self-motivation, to create a safe space and to a sense of wellbeing.
