We’re all facing unprecedented stress and overwhelm due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Deepwater Counseling is offering free, online support groups to help support you through this difficult time. Tuesday’s groups are specifically for first responders and healthcare workers, and Thursday’s groups are for the general public. Participants will be able to gain emotional support, share stories, learn new coping skills and self-care strategies, and become empowered.
Topics explored include dealing with:
- Compassion Fatigue
- Substance Abuse and Addiction
- Grief and Loss
- Survivor’s Guilt
- Family and Relationship Conflict
Support groups for first responders and healthcare workers are held on Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7:30 pm and is geared toward healthcare workers, police/law enforcement officers, emergency dispatchers, EMTs, firefighters, animal control officers, medical examiners, and any other type of first responder/frontline worker. Participants who wish to remain anonymous may do so.
Support groups for the general public are held Thursdays from 3-4 pm.
