I am currently an advanced graduate student in Counseling at Eastern Michigan University. I am a Counselor-in-training, pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am finishing up the last requirement for my degree with completing an internship at Deepwater Counseling.
I enjoy working with teens, adults, families, and couples. My counseling background has primarily focused on working with individuals with concerns related to anxiety, depression, grief, self-awareness, Identity issues, and self-esteem. Issues that clients address in counseling include personal, emotional, professional, and relationship issues, among many others.
My primary approach to counseling is an integration of person-centered, mindfulness-based, and cognitive behavioral therapies. I am passionate about counseling and hope to help my clients balance mindful awareness, gain a genuine relationship with the client, and collaborate on changes that are beneficial for the growth of the patient that minimize disturbances.
