I am dedicated to helping clients bring forth their authentic selves, building upon their strengths, and caring for and addressing places of pain. I seek to develop a collaborative and caring relationship with clients in order to bring about optimal healing and empowerment.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, career issues, and transitions. In addition, I specialize in eating disorders, body image, racial/multiracial identity, and multiculturalism. With a background in early childhood education, I also support parents through psychoeducation around child development, emotion regulation, boundaries, and parenting.
I draw from several modalities and theories including mindfulness-based techniques, internal family systems therapy, attachment theory, the language of emotions, strengths-based therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I aim to bring practical tools and coping strategies to the therapeutic process and I am enthusiastic about helping all clients develop deeper self-acceptance and self-love.
