In the last few years, on a quest to find my niche, I realized I have a genuine passion to ensure individuals are living up to their best potential. In the last few years, I have worked in the child welfare system. While working in the child welfare system, I’ve worked in residential facilities working with youth providing and facilitating group therapy, individual counseling, recreational activities, and crisis interventions. I am currently a graduate student at Wayne State University majoring in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling. I have an interest in a utilizing person-centered approach for counseling, for you to explore your feelings, beliefs, behaviors, or worldviews to achieve a greater degree of independence and integration to better cope with problems and to know how to identify them.
