Le’Shay Webb, MA, LPC
Counseling is a process in which a counselor and client work together in a professional relationship to resolve concerns or issues that the client is experiencing and chooses to bring to sessions. It is my belief that the therapeutic relationship is purely client driven as you (the client) are the expert in your life. My theoretical orientation is diverse, I blend “Reality, Adlerian, Cognitive-Behavior, Gestalt and Client-Centered” therapy approaches to help clients maximize their self-awareness. I work closely with clients to assist them in increasing their positive thoughts/images in effort to promote efficiency in their overall thinking, coping and behavioral patterns.
I specialize in working with behavioral issues, suicidal ideation, depressed mood, anxiety, emotional conflict, low self-esteem, and unresolved grief/loss.
Together, we will work to explore goals appropriate for your situation as well as procedures for accomplishing these goals. I believe it is my responsibility as your therapist to assist you in this process by using my experience and professional knowledge as well as assessments and other resources.
