Meet our Administration Staff

Kristin, Client Care Coordinator and Biller

Hello my name is Kristin, and I am the client care coordinator and biller for Deepwater Counseling. I schedule new clients as well as manage the behind-the-scenes insurance claims part of Deepwater so that our counselors can focus on what's most important! I am a Michigan State graduate, and I love what I do! When I'm not working, I enjoy being with my husband and 3 children and being involved in my church community. I am a coffee addict and also love reading as well as trying to stay fit (I love listening to health podcasts while I work!). I am happy to be part of the Deepwater team and their mission to be a harbor for those who are hurting the most.

Jen Blough, LPC, Owner

Hello! My name is Jen Blough. I am a licensed professional counselor and the owner of Deepwater Counseling, which opened in 2015. Since I have a background in, and a passion for animal welfare, I also work with animal welfare organizations by providing resources to help their staff members manage compassion fatigue, burnout, and secondary traumatic stress. In my spare time I enjoy weight training, music, taking care of my rescue animals, and jet skiing.
